Travis Barker made a name in the music world as the drummer of rock band Blink-182 but he’s about to be known for something else. The musician/entertainer turned reality star just launched Barker Wellness – a non-psychoactive, cannabinoid (CBD)-infused, THC-free vegan, and cruelty-free brand that focuses on physical and mental health and wellness. The brand offers tinctures ($64 individual and $175 for a set) in three wellness-focused options.

The first category, Maintenance uses broad-spectrum CBD and Cannabigerol (CBG) infusions, along with B12, Vitamin C, and hemp extract; The Recovery option is infused with Cannabichromene (CBC), broad-spectrum hemp extract, ashwagandha extract, and red reishi mushroom extract; The third category Sleep boosts CBD, Cannabinol (CBN), melatonin, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), and valerian root extract. You can also buy snap packets in Rise (a coffee-infused, wakefulness promotion formula), Sleep (a calming sleep-promoting formula), a pain relief cream infused with CBC, CBD, CBG, and other ingredients.

Barker has always been public about his vegan and wellness journey. In 2013, he opened Crossroads Kitchen, a wildly popular, celebrity-endorsed vegan restaurant in LA. He spoke passionately about his vegan lifestyle and choices on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast in 2019.

Before launching Barker Wellness, Barker tried different CBD products in his routine which led him to create and share formulas that improve general health and wellbeing. What makes this brand stand out from its competition is its focus on utilizing lesser-known cannabinoids like CBG, CBN, and CBC in combination with herbs, and natural ingredients.

The result is a product line that targets different needs. According to the Barker Wellness website, the tinctures focus on managing “life’s little pain points”, which range from increasing dopamine levels to help with sleep, mood, and appetite to using CBG to stave off carcinogens and reduce intraocular pressure resulting from glaucoma.  For now, Barker Wellness will be exclusively selling on their website but they plan to launch in retail outlets later this year.
