Legendary Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, on January 26. The news left the entire world in shock. The NBA champion had also won an Oscar in 2018 for the film Dear Basketball in the Best Animated Short category.
B. Smith
Author, restaurateur, and model B. Smith passed away on February 22 at the age of 70 due to the early onset of Alzheimer’s. Her husband announced the news on Facebook.
Danny Tidwell
American dancer Danny Tidwell is popular for being the runner-up on So You Think You Can Dance (2007). The late star passed away on March 6 in a car crash.
Irrfan Khan
The 53-year-old Bollywood actor, who starred in Slumdog Millionaire, passed away on April 29 because of a colon infection.
Gregory Tyree Boyce
Boyce, known for his role as Tyler Crowley in Twilight, was found dead in his condo in Las Vegas on May 13. His mother confirmed the news of his demise on his Facebook page.

The 70-year-old actress, known for her roles on the sitcom Mom and in the movie A Cinderella Story, passed away on June 2 due to cancer.
John Saxon
The 83-year-old actor, famous for his role in Enter the Dragon, died on July 25 because of pneumonia.
Chadwick Boseman
The Black Panther star passed away on August 28 after battling colon cancer for four years, leaving the world in utter shock.
Diana Rigg
Diana Rigg, popular for her roles in The Avengers, the James Bond franchise, and on Game of Thrones, passed away at 82 on September 10.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg
This well-known Supreme Court justice and pioneer of women’s rights died of metastatic pancreatic cancer on September 18.
